Maternity Photography Workshop With Lola Melani

This past March I traveled to NYC for a two-day intensive maternity photography workshop with Lola Melani.  I have admired her work for years, and have found her Pinterest images to be extremely inspiring.  It was so exciting to learn from her, and capture amazing portraits in her beautiful NYC studio.  She is so sweet and so extremely open with all of her knowledge.  We photographed two models on the first day, and went over editing, business, and technical knowledge on the second day.  We studied in a small group of only ten photographers, which gave me full access to ask any questions that I had.  My confidence soared knowing that I had most of the lighting techniques and posing figured out on my own, and just needed little tips and tricks to make my sessions go smoother.  This was truly a dream come true for me, and I am so excited to share “Lola style” in South Florida.
