When a Newborn Portrait Session Doesn’t go to Plan

NEWBORN PORTRAIT SESSION

I am a newborn photographer in South Florida. I have been photographing babies for more than 10 years and have captured hundreds of brand new babies through my lens. I’ve known baby Jiya’s parents for many, many years, and I was so excited when mama contacted me to discuss details for maternity and newborn portrait sessions.  Baby Jiya is an exotic little beauty, and I’m so pleased with how her images turned out.  It was an extreme honor to capture Jiya and her family last month.

I originally chose two adorable pink outfits to photograph the baby in.  Two “poop-splosions” in a row ruined my big plans!  If you don’t know what that is, and you are an expecting mother… you will soon find out.  I was very pleased with the outcome, despite the wardrobe changes.  Newborns run the show during my sessions, and we roll with whatever they throw at us!  🙂

I am so happy that I am able to watch Jiya grow over the next year, capturing her milestones at 6 months, and 1 year.
